2019. New roof installed with filtered gutters for rainwater capture
Landmark Pro. 40 year warranty. As part of installation, a water filtration gutter system was installed on both sides of the house to capture and deliver rainwater to two 500 gallon tanks under the deck. Roofer will do tank installation for the new owner.
Natural temperature modulation
Shady haven sheltered by heritage oak trees that’s 20 degrees cooler than Silicon Valley in the summer and cozy in winter; deer, squirrels, birds, and the great frog chorus (when it rains).
Greywater Reuse
All greywater is captured and directed to large oak trees. All bath and sink water goes to keep these heritage trees watered, so you don’t need to feel guilty taking baths. The owner has intentionally chosen not to replace the old redwood septic built by the original owner; the Japanese maple nearby is thriving.
UPSTAIRS – THE MAIN HOUSE
